  1. ask it out loud, just thinking won't do any good, since laptops are creatures that can't use telepathy


  2. Look underneath it at the sticker that says the model name and number. duh!

  3. Flip it over; on the bottom there should be a gray rectangle with a bar code and serial number printed on it.  In this box should be your laptop's model number and name.
