I have this iron bought in Hong Kong (220v country) and the model GC2510 is supposed to be a 220v only appliance, but everything on it says it is 110v and the plug is not 2 round shaped but looks as same the USA style(3 pronged). I have to take this to Switzerland (220v) and I dare not to plug it into the 220v socket there. When I plugged it into a 110v socket at home, it gets hot quite normally. Many thanks!

  1. I suggest you buy  a converter that will help a 220 to 110 you will require a higher voltage converter- i don't know where U are located , you could take it to any good reputable shop or maybe even check with a qualified electrician and they would be able to tell you what the voltage is 220 or 110
