How can I test its ignitiability, consumability, combustibility and sustainability?

  1. Measurements of flammability have been done with an intermediate scale biomass calorimeter with a line burner ignition source, which is able to measure the heat released from the combustion of an entire plant.

    Try testing the stregnth of the fibre to see how sustainable/usable the plant may be. test using weights whilst having the plant fibre attached to a clamp stand on both sides.

    And as for combustublity compare the amount of CO2 released in the 1st test and compare to other plants


  2. set it on fire.  OK, you might be from CA.  Set the fresh clippings on fire in a controlled setting, on concrete ?, with a hose handy.
