It differs by what you exactly mean by text messaging from your pc. I would suggest the following, if that is what you require.

Open My computer window

At the very top toolbar (close, minimize, maximize toolbar) right click on the computer icon and select Manage...

As the second window opens, select Action from the menue bar and choose Contact to another computer...

Write the other computer's name in your network (their network name) or write their pin number in the box apear before option selected 'Another Computer' and then click on ok. Now you are connected to another computer in the network.

Again select Action from the menue bar and choose Send a message...

You can now send a message, but this opetion is available only if your pc is connected to a network.

Other than this, there are many other text messaging from pc, like text messaging to a mobile from its link/page or text messaging to messengers xyz... you gotta be clear about your question, what you exactly wanna be guided at.
