I want it so it goes over tomatoes and cucumber instead of remaining thick like toothpaste.

  1. vinegar or maybe a tuch of olive oil?

  2. The best way is with balsamic vinigar, it tastes great. You could also add a bit of mustard, salt, pepper or herbs. Experiment! Salad dressings are really easy.

  3. milk, sour cream and olive oil does the trick!

    ===============

  4. you slice it down

  5. add a little bit of milk.  to change up the flavor you can add some milk and sour cream, and some fresh herbs, and shake it up until it is pourable, by adding a little bit of milk at a time until it is how you want it.  good luck!

  6. i would add a little milk, or oil.... mayo is made form eggs and oil, so adding oil would be the only natural.....

    although i eat the cucumber, tomato salad and i mix mayo with balsamic vinegar, and its very thin and tastes great over any salad.

  7. Yes, do a "vinagrette". Put some mayonnaise in a cup or something where you can mix it. Add a dash of olive oil and a pinch of salt finally add the vinegar (I use balsamic but it does go a horrible colour..but who cares!! I like the taste). Mix it up well and good..pour over salad...very nice.

    If you want to make a pink sauce put the mayo in a mixing utensil again (cup etc), put a dollop of ketchup and (optional) a touch of brandy...mix it well. Viola...pink sauce...usually great for seafood and especially prawns.
