Question:

How can I tone my legs?

I'm not happy with the look of my legs. I'm not fat, but my legs are a little "flabby", especially around my thighs. I have zero definition there at all. My goal isn't to have big bulging muscular legs, but I would like to lose whatever fat is there, and get some better muscle tone and definition, again especially in my thighs. What would you suggest I do to achieve this? Will simply running 4 or 5 times a week do the trick? Any help would be appreciated

  1. running will help you build muscle tone in your legs and it will give you the benefit of an overall, leaner, toned physique.

    4-5 times a week can get you injured so before you start you should do some research about running and get a training plan set up for yourself.

    you need the right shoes too.  to get those, go to a store that specializes in running and have someone watch how you run on a treadmill so they can talk with you about your running form.

  2. run twice a week

  3. Runniing will certainly help, but walking will also. Add a little resistance work and it will improve!

    BUT remember, genetics does play a part. (;

    You can't play center for an NBA team if your bio parents and genetics have your genetic family at 5'2". Be reasonable is all this means.

  4. 100 yard lunges with dumbells You can carry ... 4 sets ! It works out the WHOLE lower body plus  the core !

  5. I have found that running helps a lot with that.

    If you have access to a gym the cardio machine does wonders for leg toning.

  6. Walking, running, swimming, leg extensions, and squats/squat thrusts are all good for toning your thighs. I personally think swimming is the most fun :)

  7. probably you wont believe me but...I walked hours each day and got toned legs after 1 week! yeah its true!
