How can I trace a land line phone number? Has anyone else had mystery call from 8114-3800?

I looked it up in google and found others have had a call from this number as well but no one seems to know where it's from.

Press *69 and it will call them back and you can find out who this person is.

Don't know which country you're in, but if it was me (here in UK) and I really wanted to know for some reason, I'd call the number making sure I blocked mine, and see how they answer.

but I'd find out if it's a premium rate number first though.

dont call it back, i did and it cost £500 a minute

This number is just a standard local Australian landline number, so it's not going to cost you £500 or even $5 a minute!

I wouldn't be surprised though, if you call it, you'll get a message telling you you've won a prize if you call a 1900 number which WILL cost you $5 a minute. There was a well known scam about 12 months ago using this method to con people.
