How can I train my rabbit to use her litter box?

Question

I started training her 5 days ago and she uses the litter box all the time to pee. As for pooping, she does that everywhere in her cage (sometimes in the litter box but ususally not). I have hay for her to eat by the litter box and I dump the p**p in the box when she misses. I even try showing her that she needs to p**p there by placing her in the litter box and having her sniff her p**p. What else can I do and how long will it take for her to consistantly use her litter box? Some more information is that she isn't spayed yet, she's a little older than 1 year old, and we use carefresh bedding instead of actual litter.

i trained my rabbit to use her litter box to go to the bathroom in too, but she still poops out of it sometimes. i think that some times rabbits cant contrrol their pooping. they sure do p**p alot but it does help to put her p**p in the litter box when she poops on the floor.  after you put the p**p in, pick her up and bring her to the litter box

Have you been taking the p**p she does around the cage and placing it in the litter box? That's a good way to help her figure out what you want her to do.

because you can get special rabbit litter to use?

it costs around ten punds for about a months worth

i might get some too

lol and just note sometimes rabbits cant control when they poo as they poo alot more than us as u probably guessed haha
