  1. just practice holding your breath and run, which will strengthen your lungs

  2. Yes you need to practice but you better make sureyou have enough iron in your blood or you wont be able to increase your time at all.

Iron deficency test: Go to the mirror and pull your lower eyelid and see if the color is red or flesh color. If its flesh colored you are lacking enough iron and should take a herbal iron like Floradix. It will take a month to see a difference. Iron carrys oxygen in your blood and if you dont have it you will feel tired, cold hands and feet, headaches, RLS, dull brittle hair, brittle nails, poor sleep, pale skin (see thru), shortness of breath, fatigue, poor concentration, low mood, ringing in the ears, irregular heart beats, cracks in the corner of the mouth, dizziness, fainting, sore tongue and canker sores. Add b12 and folic acid for best results

  3. i'm really good at holding my breath. i'm in track so that helps to stregthen my lungs. just build up your cardio strength and PRACTICE! :]

  4. just like keep going underwater and time ur self to  c if uve improved

  6. Just keep practicing at it.

  7. For holding your breath underwater start by swimming like dolphin kicks underwater for 25 yards and you might feel pain like you need to breath but its all mental you need to force yourself at first to hold your breath then it will get easier and easier and then you can swim a few laps underwater!

    Good luck!

  8. well, the breath u take is important. breath liek u are singing before u go under water. pretend you are breathing through ur belly button.  your stomach should expand when you breath in, and dont raise your shoulders. you get a better breath that way, and also practice :)

  9. You have to practise by holding your breath under water and at the same time you note the time that you have taken. At each try, make sure that you break your previous time and hence your heart will become stronger. Practice makes perfect. . .
