  1. Buy a USB memory stick,( key drive/ pen drive), or an external hard drive and Borrow a monitor to copy files onto the hard drive and to the laptop.

By the way what your referring to is called a PC ( Personal Computer ) and not CPU ( Central Processing Unit)

  2. i think it would be better to hook it up to a monitor then save the files on an external hard drive or something like it. or burn the files on disks to put into your computer.

  3. Option 1: Portable Hard Drive Cases

I suggest taking out the Hard Drives, but a portable Hard Drive case and plug it into your laptop.  You'll be able to use it as a external portable hard drive as well.  Cheap ones goes for USD$30 or so.

Option 2: If you know your administrator password

Turn on your computer.  Let it boot into Windows.  Hopefully your computer is connected to each other via a network.  Then go to the computer's IP address \\192.168.0.1\C$\

You will have to type in the administrator user name and account.  Do the same for D$, etc...

If you have difficulty finding the IP address, press Windows Key + R then type in cmd enter.

Then type in ipconfig and look at the ipaddress of your laptop.  Normally the desktop will be somewhere there.  To check if it is do a ping to that address i.e.

    ping 192.168.0.100

If you get a response back you've found the ip address.
