  1. You have to do it by wire transfer. I have a Natwest bank account in England and I regularly wire money there from Wachovia. You have to pay a fee for the service (mines cost $40 per transaction) and give all details you can give (like bank account and sort code). You can also request to send it by telephone and that way saves you from going to the bank from time to time. Hope this helps.

(there is no other alternative to this but Western Union, but you need to have a family member to collect the money and it is also more expensive)

  2. Western Union, a bank

  3. I'm guessing that you would like to transfer money from american to england money, which i don't remember the name of it right now.  All you have to do is go to your bank and ask them to exchange the money.  Your personal bank is the cheapest to use, as you use it, therefore they give you a discount.  Don't go to a special place that only exchanges money because they usually cost alot there.  If that is your only option to get the money, call around to different ones and ask their rates, therefore, you might be able to find the cheapest place to get it exchanged.

  4. the best way to do it is to go to you American bank and request a wire transfer and they will do it for you. also the person that is receiving the transfer need to have an account in England there may be a fee but that fee varies depending on the state that you live
