How can I transfer my itunes from one computer to another?

My computer won't let me back up my itunes to a disk for some reason. I tried saving them to my ipod but I don't know how to get them from my ipod onto the new computer

Plug in your iPod to the new computer, find the drive, show hidden files, and just drag the files over to iTunes.
