How can I transfer my moderatorship to another member?

I need to stop being the moderator. Is it possible for me to transfer it to another member?

you can do this if you have  the priviledges to do so, but generally owners do not give that particular priviledge to moderators.

you should really e-mail the owner on this matter

As far as I know, the group owner has to change the moderator. It would be a better idea to contact him/her. But for your info ere is how you can do this:

1. Go to your group's homepage.

2. From the list on the left, click Members and locate the member on the Members page.

3. Click Edit Membership.

4. A little way down, click Change to Moderator.

5. Click on the Make Moderator button to confirm.

The moderator you appoint will have basic privileges in the group features you've made available, including Files, Calendar, Polls, Database, and Links. In these areas, the new moderator will be able to add, edit, and delete items, including items submitted by other members.
