Question:

How can I transfer my text messages from my cell to PC?

I have a Blackjack II and actually recently got a new phone. Now I'm gonna go through the biggest h**l in transferring everything over. For the media I don't care. All my songs, vids and pictures are on my memory card but I wanted to transfer the contacts and my text messages (which are like hundreds of messages). Problem is I was setting up my contacts with Outlook so I can add more detail like address and stuff. I can just copy those to the sim, which I can also do with the messages but I don't wanna go through them one by one since you can't select them all and just hit 'copy'. I was trying to use the software that the Blackjack came with. Hoping to transfer to PC and then from PC to new phone but don't know if that's possible, or if it is, how it works. Any advice is very appreciated and ideas on other way to do it are welcome. Thanks in advance for any help!

  1. It is smart to sync your phone up with outlook. If you do so, you are going to want to save your contacts to the phone though, not to the sim. You will just put everything into Outlook, the when you sync your new phone up with it, everything including addresses will be there. Addresses don't usually save to the sim.

In terms of your text messages... there is not an easy way to do this. Unfortunately it would mean saving them individually. My question is that since saving all those will take up substantial memory, are you sure you actually want to save all your messages? Maybe you can delete some and save yourself some time and space.

    Hope I helped!
