How can I transfer photos from memory card to My Pictures on my computer?

I used to use Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, but for some reason which I do not know, my computer is no longer giving me that option. How can I get that option back? If that is no longer possible, do you have other suggestions? Thanks.

If you are using a newer laptop, you probably already have an SD card reader slot built into your laptop. Check the sides of your computer (and back) look for something that looks like a small 1 or 1.5 inch slot that is NOT a prt. It should start with the letters SD.
