How can I transfer water from a swimming pool to another swimming pool?

  1. I am not sure why you would want to.  However, is it from an above ground to built in...above ground to above ground, etc.  There are several methods of doing this.  More information would help.


  2. If they are close enough that you can set up a siphon... I see no problem.

  3. Prob the easiest least expensive way would be with a garden hose. Most people have one if they have a pool. It is not the fastest but by the time you factor in hunting down a pump and buying it and picking it up and bringing it back home and hooking it up might be about the same time.

    Place one end of hose in the pool that is full. Take the other end of hose to the empty pool. Here comes the tricky part. You have to get the water flowing through the hose from one to the other. You can usually run water from a faucet into full pool and unhook from faucet. Then water from the full pool will flow out of the end you unhooked for faucet. Place that end in empty pool. If hose won't reach the faucet you will have to suck water through from full pool to get it flowing.

    Once you get it flowing in the right direction just watch and wait. The trick is just getting it started.
