How can I transport a car + 2 people from Darwin to East Timor?

I need to get a car with 2 passengers from Darwin in Northern Australia across to East Timor. Does anyone know how I can do this? Your advice is appreciated.

You'd have to fly the car there and the cost would be prohibitive, and there's every chance that the East Timorese government would not allow you to do that anyway.  And why would you want to take a car there??

The only option is for all of you to fly to Dili and hire a car there.

i take it that you have to go across water so try a ferry or something if possible which i don't even know.

There is no ferry.

You would have to ship the car and then fly over.

I think the container ships leave weekly.

Flights twice daily.
