How can I transport a second vehicle?

I'm moving from Texas to California. My car is too heavy to tow according to uHaul, what other options do I have besides having someone else drive the vehicle?

You could check with a car transporting company to see what it would cost to have it hauled  from Texas to California. It might not be as bad as you thank. You should be able to find one online or in the phone book. Good luck to you, we hate to less a Texan, but you most do what you have to.

they want you to rent a truck and trailer.. rent a dolly from someone else or buy one and sell it when you get to California..

Warning, dollys don't have brakes and are very hard to back up..
