  1. Check out National Express, coaches on certain routes run later than trains.

Ask at the new place of work if there is anybody who would be prepared to give you a lift for a share of the petrol.

Place an advert in Loot or even on here for a car share.

Another idea is to check out the bus garages in Chester for a driver who lives in Liverpool and may be prepared to give you a lift.

  2. cant believe fido e stole my answer

  3. If it's a big company check to see if there is someone else on similar hours that stays locally and organise a lift.

  4. get up early and walk

  5. Get yourself a mountain bike (and a pair of warm gloves) great exercise and you'll save money on travel.

Scouse: I'm a Londoner. How the h**l would I know about the cycle route through Mersey Tunnel? Just trying to offer a solution to this guys problem. No need to get personal.

  6. Livinfor might like the idea of cycling 40 miles a day on the A41 with no cycle facilities through the Mersey Tunnel but like you I do not. You may find someone who lives in the Birkenhead area to give you a lift and there is an all night bus service through the tunnel I think it is hourly and in Liverpool there is an hourly service to certain places on the outskirts. talk to Mersey Travel. Do you actually have to return to Liverpool each night. Could you not arranage regular lodgings in Chester ?   .

  7. chester the molester, its only 20 miles small potatoes.
