How can I travel to UCLA from Thousand Oaks?

Does anyone know how to travel to UCLA from Thousand Oaks via public transport systems? If so can you please tell me how, and outline the routes that I have to take. Thanks

  1. Here is one way:

    You can use the trip planner at

    http://www.metro.net

    You have to do it in two stages:

    1) UCLA - Warner Center

    2) Warner Center - Thousand Oaks

    It takes 3 buses and roughly 2 hours.

    Is this for commuting ?

    Just go to http://socaltransport.org/ to plan your own trip if that doesnt totally help. RTD is pretty great... you have to travel with some of the freaks in LA (I am from LA) but hey, it's cheap!
