  1. here is just some of the information I was able to dig up for you! I hope this helps you out. If you do think it is infected already to avoid more serious problems contact your doctor right away. If you do not have a primary care physician go to the nearest walk in clinic.

If you have a mouth or tongue piercing, use an antibacterial mouthwash, such as Listerine or Scope, 3 to 4 times a day to help the healing process. Avoid smoking, and don't drink alcohol or eat spicy foods until the piercing site is fully healed.

After the first 48 hours, if swelling and bruising are not present, soak the wound in warm water for 20 minutes, 3 to 4 times a day. The warmth of the water will increase the blood flow to the area, which helps reduce the risk of infection. If it is too hard to soak the wound, apply a warm, moist compression pack to the site.

  2. Go to the Dr and let him take it out and tell him how dumb it was before your tongue rots off and you can't talk.

  3. You may have to take the jewelry out.  Your mouth is full of bacteria.  Also, you may need to see a doctor about some antibiotics.  If you really feel you have an infection in your tongue,  I wouldn't put off seeing a doctor.

  4. Hydrogen peroxide...It's used in tooth paste, so in small amounts it shouldn't hurt you, although it may not taste very good. I use it on cuts even after infected and it works very well. Try it with an Eye dropper, a drop at at time. If it foams up, it's doing it's job. let it set there a minute and do not swallow it, but rinse your mouth if needed. Repeat often.

  5. anti septic m/w every 30-60 minutes. no straws or spitting.

  6. dip your tounge in verry salty water till you see docter

  8. I had to take mine out because it got really bad. you can try listerine or warm salt water. It just depends on how new the piercing is.

  9. Take the infected ring out and put a new sterilized one in (make the new sterilized one longer then the original one) and rinse your mouth out every couple of hours with mouth wash and also try to gargle salt water.

  10. mouthwash, thats what my friend used when she got her tongue pierced
