How can I treating seasonal flying ants?

I have little black ants with wings that seem to be around my bathroom area every August - October and seems very seasonal. I've tried baiting inside and outside my house but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

My dad had this same problem - You can get this gel which you put close to where they are and they carry it to the nest and it hopefully kills them all!

My parents had flying ants in thier bathroom as well.  It took them a while to get rid of them, what they didn't know was they were carpenter ants and they were eating the floor under the bathroom.  

My Dad tried everything on the market to get rid of them, he finally gave up and called an exterminator.  Once the exterminatoer got rid of the little buggers, he was told of the damage that they had done.  He then had to hire someone to resupport the floor.
