How can I turn 2million pounds in to multi-millions ?

Me and my brother are going to be adults in a few years and we want to plan ahead of time, Our father is going to give us 2million pounds, about 1million usd, when we turn 18, and we are wondering if there is a way to turn that into more, we've heard of the phrase "it takes money to make money" and we're wondering how that actually works because we dont want to live off of our father forever.

The money you make will be based on how much you're willing to risk.  The most risk-free way of investing is bank, though the interest rates nowadays are abysmal.  The stock market provides a variety of risk levels, and you'll find that the lower-mid-level risks usually bring the highest return.  Just know what you're doing before you invest.

Alternatively, you could try starting a business, which can bring in huge profits, though you're at risk for losing all of it if you try that move.

Whatever you do, be careful.  Two million may seem like a lot, but it's easy to lose if you're not cautious with how you use it.
