How can I turn vegetarian?

I really wanna turn veg but i really don't know what I can or cannot eat. Can anyone help me?

  1. Stop eating meat.  Really.  It's that simple.  You will also want to read labels because gelatin pops up in the strangest things, like some yogurts.  Gelatin, in case you don't know (and I hope you aren't eating anything right now) is from the bones, connective tissues, and hides of slaughtered animals.  Rennet, a coagulating agent used to firm up cheese, is from the fourth stomachs of veal calves.  Look for rennet-free cheese or cheese made with vegetable or microbial rennet.  You'll also want to watch for meat stock in "vegetable" soup.  And chicken fat in ramen noodles.

    Two things you should do now.

    1) Google "vegetarian starter guide" and find an organization from which you can order a starter guide.  Those organizations will also have reasons to go veg, and some will give you tips and tricks.

    2) Go to www.vrg.org to find out information on what you can and cannot eat and nutritional information.

  3. being a vegetarian is really easy, just stop eating anything with a face.  you can choose to drink skim milk too which provides you with some vitamins that you would be missing from the lack of meat.  Also eating a lot of different colors, usually the more colorful the meal the more vitamins   you are eating.  So a basic meal could breakfast: A banana, yogurt with granola, eggs whichever way you want without meat and some cereal if you want more. Lunch: A salad with dressing, a pressed veggie sandwich with Italian dressing over it and provolone cheese is my favorite sandwich to get!  and dinner could be either garden burger, taco without meat (beans and rice), with vegetables on the side.  Just make sure if you aren't eating meat you get enough of everything else in so you don't get sick!!  Hope I helped,

  4. A vegan does not eat or wear anything that comes from an animal or any animal products (that includes fish) .

    A lacto-ovo vegetarian doesn't eat meat, poultry or fish, but will eat milk products and eggs.  A lacto-vegetarian doesn't eat eggs but will eat milk products.  An ovo-vegetarian eats eggs but doesn't do milk products.  

    So it all depends on how extreme you want to go.  If you want to learn about the diets and nutrition, look them up on the internet.

  5. it's pretty easy to become vegetarian, as long as you don't eat meat withe every meal. i eat dairy products and i'm vegetarian, and i also eat a lot of veggies and cereal.

    most restaurants serve vegetarian-friendly food or will cook it without meat, so there's no worries there.

    you can eat anything that isn't meat, and it's kind of obvious what meat is in.
