Question:

How can I unbloat in only a few days?

I've had a couple of really bad food weeks....I usually watch what I eat pretty well...but have not been doing very well. I've gained about 8 pounds according to the scales...but there is no way I did by the calorie count. My belly does look a little bigger like maybe i'm bloated. Is it possible to lose this weight quickly? Will it just go away? what do i need to do?

  1. Drink a lot of water.  simple as that.  


  2. okay you have a couple of options here since you have a few days. Here is what i would do and have done...stay away from salty foods...no sodas, nothing carbonated mainly just water before each meal drink a glass and all throughout the day, you can go the drug store and pick up some diuretics which will help you pee out any excess water bloat and weight. Take a 30 min walk in either the morning or evening. I hope this works, really works for me!

  3. Here's the God honest truth, and you ain't gonna like it. Our bodies have fat cells... you have a certain number of them. When you diet and exercise, these fat cells shrink and become smaller; but you need to keep up with the diet and exercise in order to maintain them. But lets say you go off your diet and decide to binge for a few days to a few weeks, your fat cells will grow... and if they reach full capacity, they will multiply. Now you might think that diet and exercise will just get rid of them, but the saddest part is that fat cells never die unless you yourself are about to die... they shrink, but they don't die. The more fat cells you have, the more likely you are to gain more weight if you aren't very active. The number of fat cells is determined by your genetic makeup, if you have small parents, you are going to be small, if you have large parents, you will probably be large, no matter how much you exercise. It's sad but true. But here's the best part, when you have more fat cells, your body can turn it into energy a lot easier and your body becomes very efficient at using energy. Also, to get rid of bloating, you can do it in a day by going on a nice long run. Running increases digestion and helps get rid of bloating almost instantly. I noticed this when I felt like burping a lot while running.. my boyfriend who is a personal trainer told me that running aids in digestion and stops bloating. So do not worry, get to the gym or to the track and do some laps. yOu will be fine.  

  4. Water with fresh lemon 8 times a day - fruit and veggies - do it for a day and you'll feel less bloated!
