How can I undo this "ask" bit? I was doing a quick search and hit the wrong key.I don't want my info display.

Go back and start all over and follow directions.  If someone as stupid as I can do it, so can a smart person like yourself.

For the toolbar click the green square and clear recent searches there. In inet options of the control panel hit the clear history tab for the address bar. The search windows on pages do not have this function. In inet options, content you can disable the save feature in auto complete.
