How can I unlock my C Drive? ?

I believe that I have a virus in my C Drive that is causing my computer to slow tremendously. I have run virus checks and everything reads fine, however when I go into "My Computer" there is a big red X next to my C Drive and I am unable to get into it. Any help? Thanks.

unlock it.... goto any folder press alt and goto tools folder options then click the shown hidden files and folders check box
