How can I unlock my DVD player to let me play region 2 DVDS?

Hello!

I live in the UK..will I be able to watch region 2 dvds anyway or do I need to unlock my DVD player?

Sorry If this is a stupid question..I have no idea about these things!

  1. There's no need to unlock your DVD player, it's already set to Region 2 which is the UK region code.
