How can I unlock my cell phone w/o the password?

Question

I bought a used phone off ebay and everything was going great, until today when I accidentally hit the lock key on my phone. It seems that the company that sold it to me did not wipe the password, so I have no idea how to unlock it! >.<

I doubt the company will know as they sell many used phones over ebay, and it will be very hard, if not impossible for the to track the info on the cell phone. Any ideas?

I&#039;m not sure, but try this. Take the battery out for a couple of minutes, then put it back in and see if that somehow changes it.

UPDATE:

I was just told you should try the numbers 0000. That is the generic number a cell phone is set on. Hope it works.
