I have tried everything up to needle nose pliers, and it won't come undone. I don't want to cut it.

(Its a rope from a slackline, so its flat and about an inch thick.)

  1. If it's dry, try soaking it.  If it's wet, try again with it dry.

Whichever.  The "different" condition might have a teensy bit more give that whatever you have now.

  2. I wish you could send it to me.  I love string of any kind and feel led to untie any knot that has stumped everyone else.......  it's an obsession, really...

  3. Leave it for a few days. Then take it outdoors in the yard or somewhere. Sit comfortable on a mat and look for the last loop. Start from there.

    try something different.
