  1. by getting good credit

  2. Your loan amount to credit limit/opening high loan balance ratio determines about a third of your credit score.  Pay your loans and credit card debts down.

If you have like 10 credit cards, close the most recent ones that you don't use.  Too many revolving accounts = credit risk.

Do not close credit cards that you've had opened for like 10 years.  The longer your credit history, the better.

Do not apply for additional credit or loan for the next 6 months.  Each time you do, it lowers your credit score.

If you have a car being paid on a car loan and you do not need it, sell it.

  3. Have you considered using one of those authorized user tradeline programs. They are very affordable and would get you well on your way to having better credit. My mom used it and not only was able to open other accounts, but her score jumped 51 points. Check out the free evaluation form at www.totaldebtsolutionsllc.com They can help although you may want to go with 2 tradelines to ensure you get the full 60 points.  Ask them to toss in a free credit repair program; they just might.

  4. i do not know if this will raise it 60 points but it will defeinitely help you out. i went to http://offur.com/fixcredit , a totally free service that helps you raise your credit and create a plan to keep it up. its pretty helpful.
