Question:

How can I upgrade to a LG voyager without changing my family plan?

I currently have the old LG chocolate and I'm eligible for an upgrade. I really want the voyager but when I went to upgrade to that, it wasn't listed as one of the phones I could upgrade to. Then I clicked on something that said "Want to upgrade to the voyager?" only I would have to change my whole plan. It seems like the whole thing is so complicated.. all I want is the voyager.. and it says that online it is $99 which is much better than the $300 it used to be. Can anyone help me out??

  1. I had the same issue. You can upgrade to the voyager, and you do have to get a new plan. The new plan is the National plan, which you can get with the same amount of minutes at the same price as you are paying now. The national plan only updates the internet on your phone- to make it cheaper. The voyager will only run with that plan.

Call verizon and they can talk you through it. Its easy and you dont have to pay any more fees or add anything to what you already had. When I switched, I couldnt even tell the difference.

:) Hope this helps. Be careful with the Voyager. NOT FRIENDLY TO USE WHILE DRIVING AT ALL.
