How can I upload my pictures to the computer?

Ok, I have a Kodak EasyShare C813 and um when i plug it in using the USB cord, the Kodak easyshare software thingy comes up, then it starts to upload the pictures but then says its not responding, like everytme i try! So I was wondering if there was any other software or uploader i could use..?

suggest running scandisk error check on drive, and then with defragmenter , there may not be solid free space

~or other problem could be free ram, disable other programs that may be conflicting and try again,

and one other problem could be java or flash players ,

other method to view files is too hook up with cable and view as new "drive E:\..." in list,
