How can I upload videos from my mini DVD-RW to the computer?

I have a SONY DCR-DVD608 and after recording a video I cannot upload the video on my computer.

When I insert the disk the computer doesn't seem to read it.

What should I do?

Is your PC equipped with a DVD ROM drive?? Are you using the software provided with the camera?? You might want to visit the Sony support site for your camera. They have tutorials and live help available. Follow the link below>>>>>>>>

Does your computer work with that kind of disk? You need to have a drive that supports DVD+R or DVD-R.  Check the front of your CD tray for these labels, or DVD+-R if it supports both.  If it doesn't, then consider buying an external DVD drive.
