How can I use a chemical equation to show the difference between a strong acid and a concentrated acid?

For a strong acid, I did:

HCl(aq) + H2O(l) --> H3O+(aq) + Cl-(aq)

I'm not sure how I could show a concentrated acid.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

  1. Well, a strong acid is an acid that ionizes completely into its component ions. You've got the right equation for a strong acid. You can use the same equation to represent a concentrated acid. Anyway, the concentration of an acid is dependent on its molarity.  

    A concentrated acid has a higher concentration, i.e. a higher molarity. The most concentrated form of HCl is 12M.

    A concentrated acid is usually very corrosive, even if the acid is weak. The concentrated form of acetic acid is glacial acetic acid. This should be handled with care because it can "eat away" your skin.
