Question:

How can I use headphones with my TV?

I was looking for the headphones socket on my TV and it seems there isn't one! I thought all TVs have them. There are a lot of sockets in the back but none for a headphone. Is it hidden away somewhere? If not, is there anything else I can do?

  1. Not all TV's sadly have them. The LCD ones by LG do not - I purchased one a year ago & eventually got it replaced with one that does have audio out.

I use headphones regularly as was annoyed when I realised this LG one had no socket.

My lesson learned was always ask when purchasing a new TV.

If your TV has no 'Audio Out' socket then sadly you cannot hook up a headset.

  2. If there is no socket then you cant do anything but to replace the set that have one

    BEST OF LUCK

  3. If your tv has "variable audio out" or "speaker out" you may be able to rig something up.  I can help you if you e-mail me.

If not, any home theater receiver will have a headphone jack.

Not all tv's have headphone jacks.

  4. Is there a flip down panel on the front or sides? It might be in there if you have one.

It would help if you told us which TV you have.
