  1. You will need to connect the outputs from your UVerse TV reciever to the inputs on your VCR.

    Here are some general recommendations*

For sound, hook both the red and white round connectors on your UVerse set top box to the red and white input connectors on your VCR.   (Important, your VCR may have both input and output connections that look the same... you need to connect to the input connections on your VCR)

For video there is probably a round yellow connection that looks the same as the red and white connections. Connect the round yellow connector to the round yellow connector on your VCR.  (Again, use the input connectors on your VCR)

Once you have the connections made, tune your UVerse box to the channel you want to record, and start the recording on your VCR.

(Note... If what you want is for your VCR to change the channel then record at a specific time, you are more or less out of luck.   Unless you have an unusually advanced VCR, it probably does not have the ability to change channels on other devices (i.e. your Uverse Set Top Box) If this is what you want to do, I would encourage you to look into the DVR features on your UVerse DVR box.)

    Good Luck

*Note, my recommendations are very general... Depending on your VCR you may have other/better options.  But I tried to give suggestions that I thought would work for most VCRs.
