How can I find out whether someone who claims on their CV to have graduated from McGill University is not fabricating? Is this information open? If so, where is it available?

Call the Admissions and Records office at McGill and ask to verify an awarded degree. Explain who you are and why you want to verify the information. I'm sure they'll be happy to help you.

Just contact McGill University and they can verify that this person graduated and in what year.
