How can I verify that disneyland passes are still good?

We purchased 4 Disneyland tickets so that we would be able to take my 8 year old (he's recently had surgery and wanted nothing more than to go to Disneyland for his b-day)... well, we purchased them via someone on craigslist (I know.. RISKY... but our family is struggling financially right now).

Is there any way that I can verify that the passes are still good? I would hate to get to the park and have my son be dissapointed if we can't get in!

  1. Unfortunately the only way you are going to know is by trying to use them at Disneyland.  Disneyland tickets are "Non-Transferable" and "Not for Resale".   As such they will not provide any information over the phone or through e-mail.

Some things to know about.  Disneyland tickets expire 13 days from date of first use.  So you you purchased a partially used ticket you have a very limited time to use them.  One other item that may raise a question or two is if your 8yo is using an Adult ticket.  If he appears close to 10 it may not raise a flag, but if he is obviously under 10 they may wonder why you bought him a more expensive Adult ticket.

If you find the ticket is No good, your only choice would be to purchase the tickets at Disneyland.

  2. Hm, check if there are any identifying numbers on the passes, those might be able to be used to see if they are usable still and call guest services at Disneyland.

Other than that, I'm not sure how to help you.

Hope it all works out. =]
