I always wanted to help people, but I have no idea where to look. Does anyone know any places in westchester, NY where I can help people out? There are no places that I can contact to help out that I know of. I would love to be a mentor for a younger person but dont know where to start. I appreciate all your help.

  4. How old are you? If you're over 18, you can be a mentor through Big Sisters program. They're a really great program that set adult women up with a "little sister". You do stuff with them once a week for a 1-year commitment (but many people go 10+ years with their little sister!). They do a really good job at setting you up with a little sister whose interests and personality is a good match with yours. I have friends who do this and LOVE it. Just go to the Big Sisters website and then you can find your city by clicking through there.
