Petco is a company, not an organization. Try your local animal shelter or ASPCA.

Ahhh... PetCo and PetSmart are companies, and you have to be a certain age to work for them.

Unfortunately, most of the animal-related volunteer jobs go quick- the Nebraska Humane Society, Omaha Zoo, etc. You can try the Humane Society, or better yet, try the private or county-run shelters in Council Bluffs, Bellevue, etc.

Some of the local kennels or vets might need some summer helpers, but you'll do a lot of the cleaning, etc. probably.
