How can I watch American channels in Europe ?

how can I watch American channels in Europe like wgn,cbs,abc,fox. I was told it is imposible using satalite dish and a satelite tuner and that the only way is via Ip.

There are ways to watch American shows on the Internet, but I think a Slingbox is the only way to watch American channels.  You need to hook up the Slingbox in someone's home in the United States; you can then "sling" the signal to your computer in Europe.
