How can I wear liquid eyeliner?? Liquid eyeliner wearers read please?

I dont like wearing regular pencil eyeliner because after a while it smudges and then I look like a raccoon after and it doesn't last at all.

I would liek to start wearing liquid but if I get it in my eye it burns and I freak out lol. The only time when I ever was able to wear liquid eyeliner on the bottom lid was when my friend's mom did it for me and I didn't have any problems. But i'm not gonna have someone to my eyeliner for me everytime i wanna wear it.

So do you have any remedies to help me out?

Practice, practice, practice.  Take a Saturday afternoon and spend it practicing applying liquid eyeliner.  Apply it to yourself and apply it to your friends (if they will let you).  The secrets to good liquid eyeliner is a steady hand and confidence and you can't get those in a store.  I used to be very bad at it, but I liked the look so I just kept wearing it.  After years of wearing liquid eyeliner and putting it on other people, I can now do it in one quick swipe on each eye ... top and bottom.

Dude your gonna have to practice. I had to learn on my own. Its not easy but now I do like the best eyeliner out of anyone. At first it did get in my eye but after a while I got better at it. No one here can give you a tip on how to do it unless they ersonally show you so dont expect that. When I started I used like 30 cotton swabs on EACH eye to fix mistakes and make it look better. Now I dont even usecotton swabs. I do it perfectly. By the way dont put liquid eyeliner on your waterline. Your gonna do some serious damage to your eye. Stick to pencil liner on the bottom and liquid on top.

ya it hurts when it gets in your eyes. and i totally hate pencil. i use MAC liquid eyeliner but not the one in a tube i use the one in a little bottle and i apply it with a brush. its much easier its doesnt leak so therefore it wont get into your eyes and burn you. this is what it looks like.

You get used to it after a while, i just did trial and error.  Try only wearing it on the top of your lid first until u have a steady hand

I don't think it's possible to put liquid eyeliner on the bottom..i've tried..bad idea!  i would get the eyeliner in the pots and you apply them with a brush, i believe they're called cake liners, go to sephora, they work great!

Napoleon China doll eyeliner is fantastic stuff its more of a gel than a liquid, it goes on really easily, sets in a few seconds and lasts all day long I love it.

omg do NOT wear liquid eyeliner on your waterline!! it can totaallly damage your eyes!!!

if you want something that sticks, i suggest using any type of KOHL product. its very dark and long lasting! But again dont wear liqud eyeliner on your bottom!!!

Like Titania said, wearing liquid-liner on your waterline(bottom lid) can damage your eye, but only if your not careful with it. If you get it in your eyes, just flush your eyes with water and then rest your eyes for a few minutes. Instead of going back to applying the liquid-liner.

Now, to apply the liquid-liner correctly, gently pull your bottom lid away from your eye and apply the liquid-liner to the water-line, but stay away from the inside of the bottom lid. Just more towards your eye-lashes. Okay? And you don't need generous amounts. You should wipe away most of the liquid-liner. (On the liners' lid or whatever you wish) That way you don't have a high risk of getting it into your eyes. I hope I helped!
