How can I whiten my teeth without wearing out the enamel?

After some research, I'm now afraid of Crest whitestrips. Is there a certain kind of toothpaste or mouthwash [etc] that will help whiten teeth and how long does it take to see results?

Thanks!

  1. I don't know where you heard Crest White Strip is not safe, but it should be safe on the enamel when used as directed. It contains peroxide, a enamel-safe ingredient dentist use for tooth whitening. There are toothpaste and mouthwash that has whitening. Just make sure you look for the word whitening on the label when buying one.

  2. I would like to know what research told you that Crest Whitestrips wore out enamel??

What warning??  Crest Whitestrips and any bleaching system do not wear down enamel.  They might say keep it off your gum tissue, but I haven't seen anything on it being hard on your tooth enamel.
