Hello, I am (insert your name) You may have heard that I am in fact running for student body vice president.  I am certain that I can lead you in the pursuit of all that you desire from a student body council.  And since I know that we are all that same(I believe not a word of this, but LYING is the nature of politics.)It should only matter that I am smarter, and better qualified than my competitors for this office. (point out here in what manner you believe, or can get them to believe that you are better.  Truth is not relevant--belief is everything in politics and religion.) You will be honoring yourselves by electing me to the council.  My victory will be your victory.  Vote for victory.   Etc.......ect.......etc......!!
