  1. Here' a list of schools that offer online degrees:

University of Phoenix is well established; it was one of the first if not the first to offer fully accredited online degrees. My husband received his Bachelors degree online from Thomas Edison State College; they have a program where you can place out of classes based on your work experience.

I'm sure many others are legit as well. The most important thing is whether the university is accredited by one of the 6 regional accreditation boards. If not, the degree is not as well respected, credits may not transfer, and you may not be able to be admitted to graduate school.

Don't let anyone tell you that "national" accreditation is the same or better than "regional" accreditation. A "national" accreditation is basically a trade school accreditation, not an academic accreditation.

Make sure you investigate carefully to see which program best meets your needs. Good luck!
