How can I wrap up this paragraph? I just need a closing sentence for my introduction

Since the decade of the eighties, g*y and L*****n couples have been adopting children, and by doing so, creating great controversy between communities. The vast majority of people believe that same s*x couples are unfit to be parents, but why would people still believe that g*y partners would be incapable of providing the same level of a loving home environment as to a heterosexual couple since most arguments given by those who oppose parenting by L*****n and/or g*y couples have been proven to be misleading or just plain wrong?

Your closing sentence should be your thesis, which subsequent paras will then attempt to proove. That last sentence of yours may indeed be your thesis, although if it is it shouldn't end with a question.

WITHIN communities, not BETWEEN

Personally I dispute your apparent thesis. I think the best couples are a male and female. So for ME you better prove your ideas. However, I am open minded about the way you present an argument, and if you support your thesis properly I would give you the best grade possible.

VAST--I think this word should be omitted.

well it sounds good as it is but here what you should say

"g*y and L*****n couples can most certainly take care of a child and thats what im going to proven here by in this thesis."

or something like that.
