Question:

How can I zoom with my digital camera after I've taken the photo and upload the result in its "zoomed form"?

As the question states, I'd like to be able to do this with my camera: after taking a photo on my digital camera I'm able to view it and further zoom in on it; however, I'm unable to upload the "zoomed image" to my computer but only the original. How can I go about accomplishing this?

Thank you in advance.

  1. Just like others said - any image editing software will do this in a snap. But to answer your question directly - some cameras (I'm not sure about yours, as you didn't state the model) have retouch or editing menu that allows you to further crop the image. So it is possible to get it done in the camera. Just make sure you save the modified version. If you are just zooming in and out when viewing it - that does not modify the image, just lets you see it in more detail.

Hope this is what you've been asking for.

    LEM.

  2. import the original to photoshop*, resize and crop.   takes 10 seconds.

( *any photo editing software will do this easily, did your camera come with a software disk? )

  3. Im not sure that you can do it that way, but most programs like photoshop and ms photo editor allow you to zoom in on the pic after you have uploaded the original onto your computer.
