How can Israelis stand by and watch their government terrorize the Palestinian people?

This question will probably be removed like my last one on this topic was which i find very curious, but i'm sure the Israeli people are aware of the inhumane treatment of Palestinians by their government and i don't understand why they allow this to happen. I am aware that some Palestinians use stupid and destructive means to fight back against Israel like suicide bombings and such, but they also have to live in squalor while their Israeli neighbors are living in luxury, they have been pushed out of their country by means of terror on the part of the Israeli gvt. and have to fear for the safety of their children every time they leave their sight. Gaza and the West bank are essentially a prison for Palestinians with hardly any rights. Studies have shown people who decide to suicide bomb a certain group, have usually lost one or more close family members as a result of that group, which makes it at the very least understandable. This is all happening right in front of the eyes of Israelis yet hardly anyone speaks out. Why?

You have been misled by the mainstream media, I have Jewish friends who work with Palestinian peace groups, and there are numerous Israelis and Israeli organizations devoted to working with their Palestinian counterparts to settle their differences peacefully...and speaking out against Israel's military abuses of the Palestinians:

There are Israelis who have refused to serve in the Israeli military in the occupied territories. And of course there is the Peace Village, Neve Shalom (NS) in Hebrew and Wahat-al-Salam (WAS) in Arabic, where Palestinians, Jews, and Christians have been living side by side as neighbours for thirty years.

Wellll, when the Arabs and the Palestinians supported the n**i's in WW 2, and the n**i's lost the war, the Palestinians LOST also.  In all of nature the LOSER is at the MERCY of the WINNER.   The WINNERS took what they pleased from the LOSERS.   In this case, the Jews were GIVEN  their old homeland by the WINNERS.  The Palestinians should accept their lot and get a life somewhere else.  There is a lot of desert where their 'cousins'  are.  They should have resettled themselves and started out anew.  If they persist in fighting the Jews about it, they may lose much more the next time.

The answer is that no such thing is happening.

This is a loaded question is ever there was one.  The facts get lost in the fantasy there.

The Palestinians are Muslims.

As just about every terrorist in the world today is.  But I suppose that is all a coincidence.

A recent story was summarized as "Islamists kill 16 Chinese policemen four days before Olympic opening."

The attackers are said to have driven up to a border post near Kashgar, in the Muslim region of Xinjiang, in a rubbish truck and thrown two grenades before attacking the policemen with knives. The post, 4,000 km from Beijing, is on the border with Tajikistan. No group has claimed the attack.

A Chinese army officer has warned that the Islamic separatists of the province, the East Turkestan terrorist organization, are the biggest danger to the Olympics.

Last month, the Turkestan Islamic Party claimed to have blown up buses in Shanghai and Yunnan killing five people. In a videotape, the group claimed responsibility for those attacks and threatened the Olympic Games.

How can the Palestinian people stand by while their government terrorizes the Israeli people?  National defense is the prime reason for a national government so of course the Israeli people stand by while their government protects them from the terrorists.  If the government does it in a disagreeable way, it is soon replaced by the Israeli voters by another.

Maybe they don't have the time to bother while they are ducking and weaving.

It really isn't easy to feel sympathy for someone that blows up shoppers at a mall or people just riding the bus.

But what the hey - they are just "misunderstood " right?

That is probably because, unlike you, many Israelis are more aware of the reality of the situation. The reality of the situation is that terrorist groups exist and they present an existential threat to Israel. Israel has the right to do something about it, including using deadly force, and most of its citizens agree.

And for the record, statistics also show that close to 100 percent of suicide bombers chose to do so because they were part of a society that, for the large part, views such heinous acts as acts of heroism and martyrdom instead of depraved murder. It also doesn't help if some dupes such as yourself characterize it as " I am aware that some Palestinians use stupid and destructive means to fight back against Israel like suicide bombings and such" and then proceed to excuse it by letting us know they "live in squalor" and that it is "very least understandable" since they must have lost a family member.

PPl. of Israel are not living in luxury . Many of the ppl there live in poverty . They are  ALL having issues with eachother. They are the minority in the middle east.

"Squalor", "prison"? Palestine and Israel are separate countries, one of them is a democracy. Guess which one?
