Question:

How can Luton Airport justify charging £1 to use a trolley?

This is day light robbery. Passengers already pay a 'Passenger Service Charge/Airport tax' - This is a charge made by the airport authority to an airline for the use of the terminal and it's facilities. Surely this should include the use of a trolley. What next? - £5 to enter through the front doors!! £3 to read flight details on the screen!!

  1. you get a free season ticket to the football teams games thrown in!ha ha!

  2. It is up to the airport to decide what to charge for and they are getting good at extracting as much cash from the traveling public as possible.  The argument is that they can charge the least amount possible for the services that everyone wants, (such as the doors!) and people can then pay for whatever else they want.

By the way, almost all US airports charge $3 for a trolley.

  3. I tell you what annoys me about Luton airport, theres a drop off point but no pick up point!!!
